America Saves

America has a savings crisis. Even though we hear unemployment is near or at record lows and wages are supposedly rising, Americans are not saving. A recent statistic reveals that Americans are twice as likely to have accumulated $5000-$25000 in debt (33%) rather than personal savings (17%).

While we know that saving automatically is the easiest way to save, most Americans don’t do it. In this presentation, Carolyn Pemberton, Senior Program Manager with America Saves, will share some historical context about Americans’ saving habits, as well as attitudes and behaviors around savings. She will also talk with the audience about how they and their organizations can engage with America Saves to help turn the tide on this saving crisis.

11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Federal Reserve Bank - Financial Services Update

The Federal Reserve Banks strive to continuously improve the financial services they provide to financial institutions. Tom Goodman, a senior account executive from the Fed’s Customer Relations and Support Office, will provide an update on the Fed’s current and future financial service enhancements, designed to improve efficiency, risk and business banking/corporate service opportunities.

EBPP/EIPP On the Go: The Rise of Intelligent Conversational Bill Pay

The evolution of the EBPP / EIPP market is at an inflection point as it expands beyond its roots in mail, telephone, online banking, and IVR. The increased adoption of mobile devices, home assistants, and speakers has driven continuous improvements in electronic bill pay and other mobile capabilities with conversational payments being a catalyst for new ways to pay. Financial professionals will learn how conversational payments and asynchronous and omni-channel EBPP / EIPP technologies can be used to improve customer experience and gain a competitive advantage.
