The ACH has specific formatting requirements for the files it processes. For the most part, file creation is easy - use the financial institutions' system, enter the required information and poof, Bob's your uncle.

However, when your company's systems get too complex or too large for the financial institutions' system, someone may need to roll up their sleeves and dig deep into the actual formats. In this session, we explore the ins and outs of technical requirements exploring data elements, file structure, formatting, and overall requirements as addressed in the ACH Rules. This session won’t merely state what these requirements are but instead will translate ACH speak into concepts the business can understand and implement. This session will also explain some of the potential ramifications for not following these requirements.
