ACH funds availability is probably something your institution doesn’t think much about. Entries are received from the ACH Operator, and your core takes care of the rest, right? Most of the time that’s how it works; but what about when it doesn’t? In this session, we’re going to talk about standard ACH funds availability requirements and Same-Day ACH availability. We’ll also use case studies to discuss what happens when you have to delay availability and to examine some common audit issues related to ACH funds availability. We’ll also look at funds availability for account-to-account transfer settlement and how that availability differs from the availability requirements of incoming ACH credits.
