At the core of any business is the need to successfully manage cash positions and cash flows. This function often falls into a firm’s treasury management area, which is pivotal in effectively overseeing functions and services that move company funds. In today’s ever-evolving world, payment functions are not immune to changes and modernization. The nature of payments is changing from more complex user interfaces to AI-automated functions to instant payment rails. These changes are resulting in the potential to reimagine payment processes. Often, these modernizations flow from the industry to the financial institution, which in turn creates solutions for consumer and business customers.

However, businesses are drivers for how payment processes need to be made. They should be well informed of what is happening in the industry to define and refine internal processes and speak to payment provider partners about their needs. In this session, we explore what’s happening in the payments landscape, specifically focusing our lens on B2B - business payments. Topics to explore will include the faster payment movement, including FedNow and RTP and what this means for B2B, consumer expectations about payment experience, fraud controls, and more! Join us for this session, where you will leave having a better understanding of what’s happening in payments.
