NEACH is pleased to announce a new resource to its members,the real-time
payments website, from The Clearing House.
This new site is designed to educate the industry about The
Clearing House’s work to develop a real-time payments clearing and settlement
system in the U.S. From information on system design to use cases and beyond,
the site offers valuable insights that could benefit you and your organization.
Of particular note is the Business
Playbook, which, according to the site, “provides a basic understanding of
the real-time payments system and the potential for using it as a platform to
develop new services.” Included in the Playbook is an overview of real-time
payments, business case considerations, areas of potential impact, and more.
The Clearing House also is
developing an Operations Playbook, which will outline the processes and
procedures across various operational areas within an organization as it
implements real-time payments. In addition, a Technology Playbook, which
includes technical requirements for real-time payments, is in the works.
Through Pacing Payments we will keep you up-to-date on new developments as they unfold, and we will highlight key educational tools as they
become available to keep you abreast of progress with this corner of faster
payments.
