2018 will certainly feature in the annals of the history of immediate payments with three real-time payments major schemes going live within a month: EBA CLEARING RT1 for the processing of SEPA Instant Credit Transfer in Europe, the real-time payments system RTP from The Clearing House (TCH) in the US, and the Australian New Payments Platform (NPP).
